Youth Activation Fund

Youth Voice Canterbury and Sport Canterbury are partnering to deliver the Youth Activation Fund. The fund aims to support the physical wellbeing of young people through youth-led projects during the month of May. We identify young people as those aged between 12 and 24 years old.

Applications MUST be from a legal entity based in Waitaha Canterbury and/or Te Tai Poutini West Coast. Individuals cannot apply.

The most important aspect is projects must be designed, delivered and evaluated by or with young people connected to your organisation.

Please note: The next Youth Activation Fund round will be open from February 2-March 12, 2026.
