Issue 15: December, 2009

Welcome

Another huge sporting year draws to a close but of course many of our sportspeople will not be putting their feet up for long over Christmas.

In this issue you can read about some of our top young cricketers who will be taking on the best other countries have to offer when our region hosts the ICC Under 19 World Cup next month.

Martin Mongan

Spare a thought too for Christchurch teenager Allie McGlinn who is heading overseas to be the only Kiwi at the junior world ski champs in France. It's been a very busy year for all of us at Sport Canterbury too and as we look forward to the challenges of 2010, we wish you all a happy festive season.

Regards
