Issue 9: June, 2009

Hi everyone

It's a busy time for sport both here and internationally and two of the young people we profile this month demonstrate this. One is the lynchpin of the Junior Tall Blacks who are hosting the world under 19 basketball champs in Auckland in two weeks. The other is the youngest member of the New Zealand team heading to India for the world junior champs. We wish them great success.

Martin MonganElsewhere, we look at an initiative to mark the contributions of Olympic athletes past and present in our region.
