Welcome to Issue #7 of Inside Sport Canterbury.
This issue we take a look at how hockey is being handicapped in Christchurch by a shortage of artificial fields and what the sport is doing to solve the problem. We pay tribute also to a local identity, who may have introduced you and/or your children to some fundamental sporting skills.
Radio Sport host Phil Gifford has a timely message for our male readers after his recent prostate cancer scare. And Nick Kimber from CPIT continues his countdown to the SBS Christchurch Marathon in the fitness and training section. We hope you find some enjoyable reading.
Regards
Martin Mongan, Chief Executive
