Welcome to Issue #3 of Inside Sport Canterbury. Like myself, I'm sure many of you will be returning to your desks after a great summer break. The weather certainly did its bit!
In this issue we feature the New Zealand Women's Golf Open at Clearwater, look at the work of a surf life-saver at Sumner, meet an ambitious young Canterbury cricketer and outline a new CPIT degree based around sport and physical activity. In addition, we feature Sport Canterbury's Green Prescription
initiative
and the role it plays in our community plus our Coaching for Coaches programme. And make sure you check out the Hot Shots section - you'll see a couple of great photos from the Australian Tennis Open and the US Superbowl, which is coming up next week.
Commencing next issue we will be bringing you a regular Sports Travel section where you will find great information on the best deals to all those sports events you've always wanted to see.
Best wishes
Martin Mongan, Chief Executive
