Issue 18: May, 2010

Welcome

Welcome to the May issue of Inside Sport Canterbury. Most winter sports are underway already around the region. Fortunately the weather has not been so winter-like recently.

This month we catch up with the Canterbury West Coast Sports Trust's new CEO, Geoff Barry, formerly with Surf Life Saving New Zealand, and get his views on where he thinks Regional Sports Trusts need to be heading in the changing environment.

We have a chat with Tactix captain, Maree Bowden and find out her recipe for success before each game and in the Gear Locker Review, we look at what to look for when buying a new golf driver.

There's heaps more news and information from sports going on this month, as well as interviews and training and nutrition articles to keep you informed and performing at your best, so enjoy the read.

You may have noticed that we appear to have gone from the March issue to the May issue, missing out April. This is due to us wanting to align the publication to come out at the start of each month, rather than the middle.

Yours in Sport
