Establishment of “KiwiSport Coordinators” in local communities. This will be achieved through the utilisation of the KiwiSport Direct Fund (potentially from both primary and secondary allocations), the Regional Partnership Fund as well as additional locally based funding to coordinate the delivery of sport at a community level.
Through the establishment of a community based delivery model where sport happens in local communities, the barrier related to both the cost of and access to transportation can start to be addressed.
