29 January 2012 - Have a Go - Coach

On 29 January 2012, Sport Canterbury is hosting "Have a Go - Coach". This half-day event is aimed at community coaches, first-time parent coaches and anyone else who is interested in coaching. Four coaches from Volleyball, Softball, Cricket and Touch will be there to explain the basics of coaching. The general session includes: Coping strategies for particular age groups, coping strategies to deal with parents, and much more. There is a sport-specific learning session for the coaches as well. You will have time to ask questions, network and enjoy light refreshments. The event will take place from 10am - 12.30pm in North Hagley Park.
