Mission
 

Support, lead and develop sport and physical activity participation to encourage active healthy communities.
 


 

The Canterbury West Coast Sports Trust is a Charitable Trust and was established in 1989. The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees and managed by a Chief Executive.

The Trust is one of a nation wide network of seventeen Regional Sports Trusts.

Trust programmes and services are available for all communities in the greater Canterbury region with a particular focus on sport development, young people and physical activity. Offices are located in Timaru, Ashburton, Hokitika, Greymouth and Christchurch.

 




 

The Trust area includes 10 Territorial Authorities:
Grey District, Westland, MacKenzie, Waimate,
Timaru, Ashburton, Selwyn, Christchurch,
Wamakariri and Hurunui.
