Sporting Chance

The Sporting Chance fund, initially set up by Sport Otago and adopted by the CWCST, helps young people from financially disadvantaged families to participate in their chosen sporting activities.
Sporting Chance Aims to:
• Help young people obtain footwear, clothing or equipment
• Provide payment of sports fees or subscriptions.

To apply you need to submit a completed application form, including the referees section. Your referee can not be a family member nor can they be from the club or organisation that will be receiving payment. Examples of suitable referees include, but are not limited to: City Mission, Salvation Army, Rotary, Church, School Principal, Public Health Nurse, Social Worker, WINZ.
