Sport Opportunity Partnership
GoalThrough a partnership between Canterbury West Coast Sports Trust and the Halberg Trust, Sport Opportunity link people with a disability to sport and active leisure in their community.
A major component of the Sport Opportunity Advisor role is to identify barriers that reduce the ability of disabled people to participate in sport and physical activity. The Advisor will meet with community representatives to assess the need and develop a plan to reduce the barrier. They will then work the community to implement components of the plan.
